CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA--The Rainforest, Daintree River, and Cape Tribulation

Another amazing day in Australia!!! Yesterday, I went on a Rainforest tour that included a cruise across the Daintree River trying to spot Crocs (we only spotted a baby one in the woods), a walk in the rainforest, lunch, feeding Kangaroos, a swim in the Daintree River, tropical fruit tasting, Cape Tribulation views, and a Daintree Ice Cream (made of real fruit) on the way home... It was such an amazing day... One funny thing was that there was a frisky kangaroo who wanted to try to eat anything and everything, so when I leaned down to get in a picture with it, he decided that he wanted to see how I tasted too... I just felt a slight nip and pulled away... Nothing major, but it was funny!!!!!!!! The fruits were absolutely delicious and fruits that you definitely wouldn't find in New England...... When I got back, I went with one of my hostel roommates to buy some pasta to make some dinner at the hostel... She is doing a similar trip to the one that I am doing... She is from England and doing her gap year between high school and college... Pretty brave to be doing a trip around the world that young... She's great!!! Off to Darwin this evening!!!!!!!
